Prasad Jaladi, MS., President

Prasad Jaladi has international experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing and biotechnology. Prasad has Masters degree in Organic Chemistry with specialization in pharmaceuticals. He obtained training in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics from University of California and Project Management from San Jose State University, California, USA. He has held executive positions as Managing director, QA manager and R&D manager. He has extensive experience in scale up, pilot and commercial manufacturing of APIs and intermediates. Prasad is a green chemistry promoter and aims his research projects to develop sustainable and environmental friendly product life cycle.  He managed small R&D teams in start-up companies with limited resources and equipment to become the world’s largest manufacturers of bulk APIs. He has led the teams to obtain US FDA approval for pharmaceutical companies. Prasad has developed international partnerships with  biotech, pharmaceutical  and bio-IT companies to offer valuable services to the industry.

Prasad has involved in international collaborations promoting cross border research and product development.  He is involving in the growth of the scientific and professional networking organizations in USA.  Prasad is very passionate about sharing the knowledge of technological advancements and directs the development of training programs offered by the company. Prasad has obtained professional training in IT, gained excellent knowledge in information technologies like ERP, CRM and e-business and big data. He has worked as IT consultant, managed IT consulting business as West Coast Branch Manager in Silicon Valley. Currently he is managing  Intelligent Enterprise Solutions as President having some of the clients among the best 100 companies in US.

Bala Manian, Ph.D.

Dr. Bala Manian is a serial entrepreneur and a well known scientist based at Silicon Valley, CA, USA. Dr. Bala Manian
recently founded Reametrix, Inc., having operations at San Carlos, CA, USA and Banglore, India. ReaMetrix funds product development on various technology platforms in return for a share of the product revenues. ReaMetrix develops applications on existing, proven platforms. By selecting appropriate opportunities, generates proprietary reagent products for sale to the research community. ReaMetrix has manufacturing capacity in India leveraging a global partnership. Dr. Manian holds more than 30 patents, many of which have resulted in successful commercial products. Additionally, Dr. Manian has authored more than 35 scientific publications. He has a B.S. in Physics from the University of Madras, an M.S in Applied Optics from the University of Rochester, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. He was a faculty member at the University of Rochester’s Institute of Optics. Dr. Manian founded Lumisys and Molecular Dynamics. Both Lumisys (LUMI) and Molecular Dynamics (MDYN) went public on the NASDAQ before their acquisition by Eastman Kodak and Amersham Pharmacia Biotech and then by GE respectively. Dr. Manian is involved with Galileo Laboratories, Surromed, Q DOT Corporation, and Entigen.

He was the founder-chairman of Biometric Imaging Inc, which was acquired by medical device giant Becton Dickinson & Co. Prior to founding Biometric Imaging, Dr. Manian founded Digital Optics Corp, an optical instrumentation and systems development company that was acquired by Matrix Corp. An expert in the design of electro-optical systems. Dr. Manian has been recognized by the award of an “Academy Certificate” from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for inventing the special effects technology used in movies like “Return of the Jedi” and the Indiana Jones Trilogy. The technology developed by Bala Manian, David DiFrancesco and Thomas Noggle, at Digital Optics Corp., and transferred to Lucas film Ltd. in 1983, allowed filmmakers to insert special effects into movies using computerized digital imaging. This was a considerable improvement over existing technology, which involved an expensive and painstaking procedure whereby two different sets of images, almost two movies, had to be created and combined to achieve the same special effects.


Venkatadri Bobba, M.Pharm.

Mr. Bobba Venkatadri is President and CEO of Trans-India Aquisition Corporation. He is President, Napo India Private Limited. He has over 30 years of U.S and international senior executive leadership in bio-pharma industry. He was Senior Vice President, Operations in Aradigm Corpotation. Mr. Bobba was Executive Vice President of Operations for Diosynth RTP, Inc. a division of Akzo Nobel, a manufacturer of recombinant proteins. Prior to that Bobba served as Chief Executive Officer of Molecular Biosystems, Inc., Executive Vice President of Centocor, President of Warner-Lambert Indonesia and Vice President, U.S. Operations of Parke-Davis.


Mikael Kubista, Ph.D.

Dr. Mikael Kubista is professor at University in Prague and Chairman to TATAA Biocenter, Sweden. He was among the pioneers working with real-time PCR technology and contributed by developing the LightUp probes used in infectious disease testing and the BEBO dyes, which are alternatives to SYBR Green for non-specific detection. He also pioneered the field of single cell expression profiling, which was highlighted in Nature Reviews of Genetics.

Recently Dr. Kubista published the review: The Real-time PCR Reaction in Molecular Aspects of Medicine. Dr. Kubista is scientific advisor to several companies developing real-time PCR technology and applications based on real-time PCR. In 2001 Dr. Kubista founded the TATAA Biocenters, which today are the leading providers of real-time PCR services in Scandinavia and Central Europe.


Narayan R. Raju, Ph.D. 

Dr. Narayan Raju holds citizenship of Fiji and United States. He has done B.Sc., Biological Science from Osmania University, India in 1971 and B.V.Sc (DVM)., Veterinary Sciences from Andhra Agricultural University, India in 1976. He obtained M.V.S., Veterinary Pathology, Melbourne University, Australia, 1981, Pathology Residency, Michigan State University in1985 and Ph.D., Veterinary Pathology, Michigan State University in1987. Dr. Raju’s currently holding responsibility as Director, Pathology Research Laboratory, Berkeley, CA, Consultant to World Health Organization, Director to Pathology Research Laboratory, Inc., and English Editor to Korean Veterinary Journal. Dr. Raju has obtained honours and awards like Indian Government Scholarship in 1968, Phi Zeta – Food and Agriculture Organization Fellowship in 1979, The Upjohn Company Post?doctoral Fellowship in 1985, Recipient of the C. L. Davis Foundation Scholarship in Veterinary Pathology in 1987, Pruess Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship in 1987 and from 1997 to till date as Hon Consul, Consulate of Fiji, San Francisco, California, USA.

A. S. Rao, BSc Engg., Electrical

A.S.Rao is  Visiting Professor, Innovation & Incubation at Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. He is former Adviser in Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. Rao is President of Indian Innovation Association. He is currently working as Adviser/ Consultant / Mentor of selected organisations- IIT Hyderabad, Foundation for MSME Clusters and Startup Village.

He is also elected as member of Executive Committee of International Federation of Inventor's Associations (IFIA) and invited to join A.P state Govt committee on Innovation Society. A.S. Rao is an expert in R&D project management, Intellectual Property, Technology Transfer, Taking innovation to market,  igniting minds, start-up support, unleashing creativity, open innovation network and Innovation Clusters.

A.S. Rao has obtained  Electrical Engineering degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Calicut - India, MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur - India and Innovation Management course from John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, USA.
